Bonjour subscribers, patrons, fans, art lovers, Paris lovers — how’ve you been? Weird? Yeah, same.
I haven’t picked my camera up to take photos for-the-love-of-it since that one snowy day in November. Since then, nearly 20 prints have sold from the images of that day. Still a few left, never too late to order art as a belated holiday gift. (Should arrive around New Years) Paid subscribers received an email a few weeks back with a discount code!

I’d like to take a moment to thank you all yet again who pay for Baby Blue — its truly a tangible source of support that takes the edge off these slow months — so grateful to have you here.

Lets take a look back at this year…
We started with red in a timeless cafe in Barcelona, January 2024, more war had broken out, and time kept on… or stood still, depending how you looked at it…
Revisited some Lisbon blues…
Relished in some racy reds…
Revisited some core imagery from my life changing visit to Paris in 2020…
Rehashed the anniversary of pandemic times, and sold a print of this image to a good friend out in California…
Did a photoshoot inspired by one of my photography heroes, Paolo Roversi, and then got to meet that hero a few weeks later, and snap a photo of his hands, no less…
I pulled off my first solo gallery expo (ever) here in Paris and the turn out was overwhelming…
Looking back, I realize I never properly reflected [in writing] on the show, or shared photos of it. It was such an energizing week. Every hour of every day for seven days I was deeply focused on the work, fully in my element, driven by the pure creative clarity artists are always yearning for. It was the highlight of my year.
Summer took a really, really long time to arrive…
But when it finally did, it was glorious…
And was full of Olympic epicness…
And then it was nearly a month and a half in the US making photos for interior design clients, hotels, brands, families, professional portraits, and Halloween parties, and now we are at the close of another year and well, its been a doozy, don’t you agree?
That year seems to have been well lived.
Cheers to the New Year!!! May it be full of surprises.
