I love the subtle indications of era and season in these seemingly timeless shots.

These are beautiful. The quality of your black and white shows how much you appreciate a high level of technical perfection. And your words remind me of something I learned and passed on, "...boredom forces you to become creative.....".

They move me, even in the present. I'm sure they will last the test of time. Keep showing what you see and feel. Love to you.

Love the horses in the window. Missing Paris every day and always thankful for a peak.

Anyone who lived through confinement in Paris will be triggered by that last image.

I love these shots, Augusta. Especially the gritty ones, people walking through the cold, dirty streets of Paris. Not how we conceptualise the city, and yet, it's beautiful, and more human than the fantasy. Also the abandoned chairs. Why do they make me feel so sad?

Two movie quotes come to mind looking at these images. One is from a Joan Tewksbury film. A character introduces a photographer with "She takes pictures of corners. Makes sense of them too." The other is from THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR. Robert Redford says of Faye Dunaway's images. "You're funny. Take pictures of empty streets with no people in them. They look like Winter...no, not winter. November. Not winter, not Fall. I like them."
