Europe re-entry began January 28th. A Sunday morning.
Films I have watched in the last week:
Zone of Interest, Jonathan Glazer (Extremely powerful - In theaters)
Killers of The Flower Moon, Martin Scorsese (Long epic with gut-punch ending - Apple+)
Into The Inferno, Werner Herzog (Doc. - Netflix)
Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed, Joshua Rofé (Doc - Netflix)
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Ben Stiller (An inspiring, well made, feel-it-in-your-bones movie with a joyful soundtrack to match - Rented via Apple)
All of these films (some more than others) brought me to tears. The documentaries were so packed with humanity—offering some kind of clarity on what it just might mean to be an alive person on planet Earth. The movies were made with such care and mastery of craft, I was emotional witnessing such human expression of dedication and, love, really is what I think it is, in the end — an expression of love.
Other Thoughts
The color yellow has been following me this month. Or maybe I’m stalking it.
I’m working on a lot, but I haven’t had much to say. Not yet. Maybe soon.

Always enjoy how you curate your images, and that's a good list of films.
Love us some yellow here at Feasts and Fables HQ ... we planted 5 mimosa trees (or bushes, only time will tell) and we are anxiously waiting on a burst of yellow. We're worried the frost nipped at their enthusiasm and we might miss a year. 'Blood Meridian', a tough old read! Your post, a lovely read!
