I’ve been sitting on these images for a while. I haven’t found the words to put with them—maybe they simply don’t need any. I was able to make these images thanks to a fellow writer here on Substack who generously shared their family’s country home with

and I last month. We spent a week waking up with the sunrise, writing, reading, making art, meals, love, etc. These images are of precious pieces of the feeling of those days—transformative days full of dreaming of our futures and taking little steps towards shaping them.
