Horse Head
An experimental self portrait series and poem - shot yesterday, written today.
HORSE HEAD
I’ve the head of a horse
Long, hard, strong
My mouth is formidable
My ears always alert
Tongue too large to keep tied
Horse head
I’ve horses running in my brain
They gallop and prance when I try to sleep
Their tails swat at tickles from flies that aren’t really there
Their intangibility does not muffle the trotting
Four hard hooves, one giant rib cage, two glass eyes
Two big, black, orbs on each side of my
Horse head
I love the elegance of the portraits.
Your lighting is amazing. Second photo's very dramatic and mysterious, like the poem. I do like the last one best...
