I love the sun because she shapes the shadows. She creates the colors—changes the colors. Makes the day, makes the photograph—is the photograph.

Immensely grateful to Feasts and Fables for offering their space, trust, and bounty of the land to two artists in need of exactly that. We cooked dozens of delicious meals, walked for miles through the woods, spent countless hours in the grass, cloud-gazing, meditated & read in the hammock, floated in the pool, and performed creative acts each and every day—including baking cookies, which I haven’t been able to do in years in my oven-less Parisian apartment.

We will miss the steady frequency at which this place hums.
